Discipline is Not Punishment

September 23, 2011

Martial Arts Discipline Reinforces Good Grades and Good Manners

The Martial Arts are legendary for the development of self-discipline, especially in children.

While most understand the methodology of martial arts instruction, some parents confuse the discipline in martial arts for punishment. However, it is not punishment at all, rather it is the secret to the key of developing self discipline and empathy.

There was a movement in the martial arts in recent years to eliminate push ups, board breaking and failing students on belt tests. Some instructors felt it was bad business. The consequence is that many martial arts schools today have earned the reputation as belt factories or McDojos. Unfortunately, some people have generalized that all traditional or classical martial arts schools are the same. This is not the case.

Many instructors chose to stay the course and risk the business to stay true to the disciplined style of teaching without watering down standards. It is this group that understands the profound impact that discipline and the tools such as push ups, board breaking and sparring have on their students.

Yes, these can be scary to the overly protective parent. However, the world we live in is not as nice as we hope. Even the parent with the best intentions and highest hopes cannot protect their child from every challenge, obstacle or risk. Life is risk. In my experience, rather than trying to change all 5+ billion people on the planet, it is better to work on preparing ourselves and our children to properly face those realities.

Martial Arts discipline is one method of preparing children for todays world, and perhaps more importantly tomorrows. I would encourage parents to seek out an instructor that encourages excellence in your child, has high expectations and holds them accountable. They should also use encouragement and lead by example. The instructors life should be evidence of this discipline from their physical conditioning, technical ability, attitude, social skills to achievements.

While there are no perfect people, therefore no perfect instructors, I would encourage you to keep looking for one that is perfect for your child, goals and aims. There are some truly great instructors out there if you take the time to look. Just keep in mind that their methods may seem tough at times but good communication and patience will usually help you see the profound benefit of discipline in a child’s life.

The Secret To Happier, Healthier More Confident Kids…

May 31, 2011

•••Attention Parents•••

Can you find your child in this checklist?

“If So, Read On…You Might Just Find
the Big Breakthrough You’ve Been
Seeking for Your Child!”

___ Rita, age 11, used to be confident…ready to take on the world. But after starting middle school, she seems like a different person: hesitant and unsure of herself.
The peace of the household is frequently disturbed. Everything is a battle: getting ready for school; dinnertime; homework; even things that used to be enjoyable family activities are now potential battles. Screaming matches occur on a regular basis.

___ Paula is so concerned about being popular. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, worry that this will make her an easy target for negative peer pressure.

___ Simon used to enjoy playing outside, but has now settled into a couch potato lifestyle. He is putting on weight and seems to be increasingly hooked on junk food.

___ Martin, bright, smart, and formerly very interested in doing well, has succumbed to the mentality that, somehow, it’s not “cool” to try hard with his school work.

___ Mr. and Mrs. Grant are frustrated at the level of disrespect demonstrated by their children. The kids never used to talk like this before! The Halls think, “If I had talked like that when I was a kid — I would have gotten clobbered!”

___ It seems that Harper always gravitates toward the “bad crowd.” He is attracted to kids that don’t do well in school and are constantly in trouble.

___ Grace is concerned about her son, Alex. Since the divorce, he doesn’t have a positive male role model. Alex is often sullen and difficult to get along with.
If you’ve “found” your son or daughter on the checklist above
(and most people do)… Read on…

Note: We get reports like these, literally every day, from parents
whose kids train at “USA Martial Arts Phoenix.”

Gabriella’s confidence has grown tremendously since earning her Green Belt. Mrs. Johnson, her teacher, has just called to say that Jenny can now stand up in front of the class in school and confidently speak. Mom and Dad are shocked and surprised.

Not only has Jacob gotten into great physical shape…his athletic skill has improved enormously. Jacob seems to have a newfound love of being outdoors, playing, and running.

Cory, formerly terrified of moving outside his comfort zone, now eagerly takes on new challenges. As his confidence grows, he moves on to the next challenge with excitement. His parents, Laura and Eddie, credit the high energy, positive environment of “USA Martial Arts Phoenix.”

Michael has become more cheerful and helpful around the house. He enjoys family activities…just like he used to when he was younger. His mother, Barbara, reports that he is now a joy to be around.

Mom was delighted when, after the neighborhood BBQ, Mrs. Swift from down the block said, “Your son Joshua is such a well mannered young boy!”

Carol said, “Mom, the kids were saying mean things to me at school today.” Mom thinks, “Oh no, here we go again.” — and says, “Well, how did you handle it?” Mom breathes a sigh of relief when Carol says, “It’s no big deal. Their words can’t hurt me. I learned that in Martial Arts class!”

Timmy, formerly quite a slob, now seems to be taking pride in his appearance. Without being asked, somehow his hair is combed, his shirt is clean, his teeth are brushed. And, not always, but at least occasionally, his bedroom seems to be picked up and clean! Just as Timmy is proud of his Karate accomplishments, he also seems to take pride in other aspects of his life!

Introducing the USA Martial Arts Phoenix Ten Point Success System

1. Positive Role Models: The biggest asset of “USA Martial Arts Phoenix?” Easy. The teachers. Now, I’ll tell you up front. They are not like the teachers you’ve seen in the Martial Art movies. Are they “tough guys?” Yes. But what you will notice (and so will your child)…is that they are “Nice Guys.” They have been hand selected…not just because they are great Martial Artists. They have been chosen because they are wonderful people…and have a great love of helping others benefit from the Martial Arts! All of our teachers were once students at “USA Martial Arts Phoenix” themselves. They care about each student individually — and are totally committed to helping your child reach his or her potential.

2. Physical Fitness: It’s hard to feel good about yourself when you are out of shape physically…or when your athletic skills have not been fully developed. Our belief is that, regardless of how athletic somebody seems to be…there is an athlete inside all of us. When a student feels their physical skills skyrocket…it’s not long before their self-image follows suit!

3. A High Energy, Exciting Environment: Many kids have grown accustomed to virtual activities (video games, television, internet). Participating in an exciting, high energy environment, focused on an actual activity, will give your child a very real sense of achievement!

4. Regular Incentives for Effort and Achievement: The belt system of Martial Arts (your child will earn a new belt every three months: white, yellow, gold, orange, green, etc.), regular positive feedback and recognition of accomplishment, incentives for improvement, applause, smiles, and high-fives will systematically lead your child into the “Yes, I Can!” attitude you’ve always wanted for him or her.

5. The “Life Lesson of the Week”: Regular exposure, through our “Life Skills Lessons from Martial Arts Masters,” to systematic instruction, accompanied by exercises in the lessons of respect, discipline, focus, persistence, courage, discipline and confidence. (Most of the “USA Martial Arts Phoenix” parents name this as their favorite part of the program!)

6. A Proven System of Skill and Personal Development: No fancy theories or hard to understand concepts here. Our teachers are experts in teaching the actual SKILLS of listening and focus. Hint: We’ll be teaching these to your child in the very first week!

7. A Series of Positively Constructed Challenges that will build your child’s confidence. You will be delighted as you see your children confidently move outside their comfort zone. As the weeks go by, you will smile with pride as your son or daughter moves from challenge to challenge…their confidence soaring at each new accomplishment!

8. An Atmosphere of Respect: You watch with satisfaction as your children learn to give respect and to earn respect. Most importantly, they learn the essential lessons of Self-Respect!

9. Order and Structure: Even though the atmosphere is friendly and supportive, Karate is not “play time.” You will be delighted to see how your children develop focus and persistence in our orderly, structured environment.

10. A Friendship Based Environment: If you are expecting the old, harsh, authoritarian, military style Martial Art training…you are going to be sadly disappointed. When you visit us, you will find a friendly, supportive environment.

Some of the teachers and long time students have been friends for nearly 20 years. That atmosphere of friendship, support, and respect will give your
child the support he or she needs to succeed!

The Best Kept Secret to Building Greater Self-Confidence and Self-Control

April 12, 2011

The Best Kept Secret to Building
Greater Self-Confidence and Self-Control

Give your child the gift of CONFIDENCE
“ I was skeptical when I heard that karate would teach my child discipline, confidence, and self esteem……
But, now – he’s a “Straight A Student,”
Confident, and, Respectful!”

Dear Phoenix Parent,

As a parent, you prepare your child for school the best you can every day. But what do you do about developing the confidence to ask and answer questions? What about the self-control it takes for your child to raise their hand in school? How about the discipline to focus, concentrate and learn at their maximum potential. Our USA Martial Arts Phoenix school will insure these traits will be developed at our Kids Karate and Children Taekwondo programs.

I have been working with children like yours for over 25 years, helping them develop character tools they can use for the rest of their life, such as self-confidence, discipline, respect, naming a few. The USA Martial Arts Phoenix School and its full-time professional staff are fully dedicated to this goal.

In our program your child will not only have fun, but also he or she will learn and build the confidence to be a great success at home, school and in Life! You don’t believe me? Read on and see what some parents have to say about our program.

The Karate for Kids program works hand-in-hand with a child’s schoolwork, providing improved self-discipline, self-confidence, mental alertness and goal setting skills. Watch as your child increases in confidence, energy and spirit. Stand and be dazzled as he becomes unstoppable in his quest for…

Greater academic achievement.
Unshakable self respect.
Increased strength and fitness, in both body and mind.

What we offer in our Karate for Kids program goes beyond kicking, blocking, and punching. It reaches into your child’s inner challenges that goes beyond “beating up the neighborhood bully” – instead it battles with your child’s inner self doubt as he develops.

Doubts like:
” I’m not good enough”
” Am I as good a Johnny?”
” I wish I was smarter than Sarah?”
” Why do they always pick on me?”
” Why doesn’t anybody like me?”

I am sure you have questioned yourself on how to help your child with these doubts. The good news is, I have a proven solution. A Program that has already worked for thousands of children- our Kids Karate program which will help your child learn easier than you think.

Remember, it’s not so much about your child learning the skills to fight others, but the ability to conquer himself by taming his innermost fears. Once your child learns these lifelong self-improvement tools we would have unleashed within him, a powerful, unstoppable force.
In other words, when your child uses the discipline of karate to conquer his fears, he has power to transfer that discipline to all other areas of his life. I know of no other sport that does this better than karate.

You may wonder how we can make a claim that karate is unlike any other sport in helping your child develop the important attributes we have been talking about. Fact of the matter is, that karate will increase your child’s strength, flexibility endurance, balance, and harmony, which in turn will leave him/her marveling at these changes.

In fact, these changes to his/her physical skills will act as a foundation for something much more important: the development of his/her value skills, mental and spiritual; not separate from her physical skills, but intimately connected – even bonded-to them.

The following are but three examples of what areas your child will grow in. These are just three of the powerful, energizing values your child will get from the “Kickin’ Kids” program. In short, you can look forward to your child developing:

Powerful Self Control: Your child will refuse to give in to negative peer pressure, and will develop a deeper respect for rules.
Improved Focus: Your child will learn what’s needed, along with the skill to “zero in” on critical tasks at hand. Normal, yet time-wasting, childhood distractions won’t get in his/her way.
Fearless Self Confidence: Watch as your child finds the courage to open any door life has to offer.
LITTLE TIGERS CHILDREN TAEKWONDO- Ages 4 to 6

In addition to our internationally recognized Phoenix Kids Karate program, we offer a program called the Little Tigers program and was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 4 through 6. Just like in the Kids Karate program, Little Tigers have their own unique patches and “Victory Stars.” Stars are earned in the same way as the Karate for Kids program, with slight modifications in recognition of the preschool age of the child. Four different colored.

There are many reasons for kids to become involved in the Martial Arts. We have developed programs based on traditional Martial Arts for kids. The Kids Karate Programs are based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as:

Goals

Perseverance

Confidence

Self Awareness

Respect

Self-Esteem Friendship

Self-Control

Self-Improvement

Courtesy

Integrity

Dedication

In addition to monthly themes, our system includes the unique victory patch. Kids are rewarded special “victory stars.” These difference colored stars are rewarded for outstanding performance in karate class, school, home, or at a tournament competition. Kids may receive the following stars for the following deeds:

GOLD – Straight A’s, honor roll, or significant improvement
SILVER – Special performance awards
BLUE – Monthly themes, weekly lessons, classroom performance
RED – Tournament participation

Four different colored Victory Patches are available to accommodate all the stars that can be earned by high achieving Karate Kids:
Blue 0-24 Stars
Silver 25-49 Stars
Gold 50-99 Stars
Blue/Gold 100+ Stars

Frequently Asked Questions About USA Martial Arts Phoenix

October 24, 2010

Awarded BEST OF PHOENIX 2010

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m a beginner – are there special classes for me?
Yes indeed. As a beginning student, you’ll have your own special classes as part of our Discovery course. You’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of Taekwondo, while you also learn some of the basics of being a martial arts student. These are strictly “no-contact” classes – no-one is going to be punching or kicking you.

Am I allowed to watch my child in class?

Not just allowed, but positively encouraged. We have a viewing area set aside where you can sit and view your child’s class in comfort. Your positive involvement in your child’s study of Taekwondo is more important than you may realize. When you take an interest in Taekwondo class, you show your child that you truly value his or her efforts. By watching class, you give your child support, approval, and recognition for their achievements in karate – you give them the encouragement they need to thrive. So, while you’re not required to watch every minute of every class, please do stay and watch your child whenever possible.

How often should I attend classes?

If you’re one of our Taekwondo Tigers, (ages 4-7), please attend at least 1 class a week. If you’re a student in our Discovery courses, please attend class at least 2 times a week. You’re always welcome to come to class more often during the week if you are able.

Will I have to compete at Martial Arts Tournaments?

No, you’re not going to be required to compete at Martial Arts tournaments. Sport competition in karate simply isn’t a good fit for everyone, and you’re not going to be pushed into it. That said, if you are interested in competition, we do work together with other reputable local and regional schools to make quality tournaments available to our students. Sport competition in Taekwondo (or open martial arts) can be interesting, rewarding, and fun – while expanding and enriching your experience of the art. We have local, State, National and International champions and programs that can take students on a path toward their Olympic dreams.

About USA Martial Arts Phoenix Arizona

USA Martial Arts Black Belt Universities Family Self Defense Leadership and Character Training Schools are owned by John Nottingham. His first full-time training center opened in Mesa Arizona in 1992. It had been his goal to build a martial arts school that offered not only an effective self defense program for children and adults, but also a comprehensive program of personal growth and development. It would be the emphasis on teaching the life skills of leadership, integrity, goal setting, self discipline and academic excellence, to name a few, that would cause the community to respond. An Eagle Scout, former Airborne Army Reservist, and bodyguard, he is living his dream with a chain of successful affiliate USA Martial Arts schools and a gifted staff.

His Phoenix/Scottsdale/Paradise Valley Arizona training center, the most state of the art martial arts school in the area with members of all ages, relocated to its present facility on Tatum and Greenway in 2010 to acquire additional space to accommodate the school’s continued growth. The beautiful facility ranks among the top martial arts schools in the nation with a large training room and classroom, Olympic style rubber flooring, spacious lobby, pro shop, martial arts store, quiet homework area for children, and a coffee and snack bar. USA Martial Arts training facilities are among the best in the country. They are as beautiful as they are functional.

John D. Nottingham
John Nottingham began his martial arts training under his first teacher in the mid 1980s. He has gone on to study in the US and Asia (China and Korea) under a virtual “Who’s Who” of martial Arts legends. John now holds the rank of 6th degree black belt in Taekwondo. He has also been awarded the title of Kwanjang (professor/Master) and was awarded Master of The Year and inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2005. He holds multiple Black Belts and Instructorships. Under his tutelage, nearly 200 students have obtained the rank of black belt. John is also part of the US host Masters for the Korean Eagles Taekwondo Demo Team. John sits on the board of directors for the Break The Chain of Child Abuse Foundation and the Black Belt Society Warrior Scholars program which awards scholarships to graduating black belts. John is a respected local and national motivational and peak performance coach and speaker. John and his team are active in their community supporting the local school system and many charities.

WHAT’S THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR CHILD?…

CONFIDENCE!

A confident kid is UNSTOPPABLE!
Discover how our Martial Arts Program will help you raise a safer, happier, healthier child all from learning to kick, block, and punch

“I laughed when I heard that karate could help him in school…
Now he’s a Straight A Student”

It’s amazing, but true . . .
(learn the same lessons that I have – with this special FREE offer!)
And all of it comes from learning how to “kick, block and punch.” Still, you’re wondering if this will work for your child. I understand.

Dear Parent,

I don’t blame you. You’re probably wondering, how could one activity have such an impact on my child?
Well, it’s incredible, but true. The martial arts is not only a sport that can be enjoyed throughout a lifetime, but can also improve the quality of ones life! By teaching wholesome values and, success skills.

My name is John Nottingham, I’m the owner of one of the most successful martial arts schools in the Phoenix area.

For more than 20 years I’ve been nurturing children like yours with character building tools found only in martial-arts. No other sport can match them. I have consulted with over 10,000 Parents and many of them share the same concerns and priorities for their children.

Parents talk about the importance of positive influences, organized activity, developing discipline and confidence, goal-setting, and physical exercise. I’m happy to report that many parents also found that training at USA Martial Arts can accomplish all these objectives.

Your child’s Biggest Challenge comes from:

Their Fears and Self-Doubts. And it’s this limited way of thinking that is all around them that holds them back more than anything.

“I’m not as good as John.”
“I never get what the teacher is saying.”
“Other kids are getting all the breaks.”
“How come I can’t be as popular as Jane.”
“I’m not good at this, it’s just not for me.”
“How come that kid keeps picking on me?”

The list goes on and on. The question is: How can your child defend themselves against these attacks everyday?

When your child uses the power of martial-arts to conquer their fears, they have the power to transfer that to all other areas of life.

Martial-Arts lessons are the best way for your child to develop a continued feeling of confidence and achievement. When it is time for them to move up in rank we require they have your permission and the permission of their school teacher. That is just one of the ways we encourage good academic performance.
Watch as your child increases in confidence, energy, and spirit. You’ll be amazed as they become unstoppable in their quest for:

Greater Academic Accomplishments
Superb Attitude
Fitness
Unshakable Self Respect
Personal Achievement & Black Belt Excellence
All of this while having fun!

“Master Nottingham: Be sure to keep developing great leaders and minds for today’s world. You have no idea how influential you have been in not just my life, but many others. I honestly don’t know what type of person I would have become without martial arts forming a backbone for character.”
-Derek Roberts, Georgia Tech University Student

Your Child will develop the “I Can” “I Will” attitude that will, more than anything, set them a part and make them a leader!
It Does Not happen over night! Anything worth while requires dedication, persistence, and commitment. These character qualities can be learned by doing. I know you’re one of those very select parents who realizes that investing in your child now will pay you big dividends later.

Through our program your child will learn the fundamentals of LEADERSHIP:
Courage, Follow Through, Goal Setting, Communication Skills, Team Work, Self-Discipline, Self-Control, and the list goes on and on.

It doesn’t matter whether your child is out of shape or a star athlete. Martial-arts training will increase their flexibility, stamina and overall health. I have seen so many kids who were at first, over weight or felt physically inadequate transform their appearance and their confidence in themselves by becoming physically fit.

I have seen many star athletes gain the winning edge with the techniques they learn in martial-arts. Over the years I’ve also watched asthmatic children develop the ability to breathe easier (I was one of them. You can read my story in TKD Times Magazine here).

But don’t take my word for it………

“We, the Fox Family, want to thank EACH of you for making this one of the best experiences we have had – individually & together. At every class – from fellow lower belts to the many helpful upper belts that assist in class – we are met with such enthusiasm and encouragement!”
-April, Chris and Ashley Fox

“From my training throughout the last six years, I have gained so much that it is hard to explain with words.I’ve become stronger mentally and physically, continue to strive beyond my expectations, devise goal plans and structured schedules to achieve such goals, established myself as a person, as well as realized the friendships I have made through my martial arts family.”
-Lianne Russo, Arizona State University student

“I just finished reading the book Living the Martial Way. After reading the chapter on the Ideal Master, I realized that is exactly what we found in Sabumnim (Master Nottingham) and the wonderful instructors at USA Martial Arts. Chance couldn’t have brought us to a better school.”
– Mrs. Dawn Martin (The entire Martin family are members of the Leadership Program)

Our program can and WILL help your child increase their confidence, self- esteem and discipline, while teaching them life skills that will last them a lifetime and much more. (Let me explain why you MUST come see our program for yourself, it will be the best thing that you’ll ever do for your child.)

Imagine how you’ll feel when your child becomes unstoppable at achieving all of the positive things life has to offer and unstoppable at avoiding all of the negative things life has to throw our way.
In our martial arts program, your child will improve their confidence, increase their focus, and develop more self-control. We can say this with confidence because we have personally witnessed the positive effects our programs have provided for children just like your own.

Here a short explanation of how our programs teach these valuable life skills:

Confidence – By learning how to protect themselves, your children will develop confidence in their ability to handle life’s challenges. In turn, their improved confidence will give them the courage to say “no” to negative influences.

Focus – We will help your child increase their focus by giving them clear goals and showing them how to reach those goals through hard work and being consistent. (Of course, they won’t realize they’re learning focus because our classes are so much fun! But keep that to yourself – it’ll be our little secret…)

Self-control – Kids learn self-control in the martial arts by learning how important it is to have respect, both for themselves and for others. Martial arts training teaches that in order to get respect, you first have to give it. Once your child learns this important lesson, their self-control will naturally increase.

As you can see, our martial arts programs teach so much more than “just kicks and punches.” We help children develop life-skills that will take them far beyond the four walls of our martial art school – benefits that will last them a lifetime.

Positive Role Models Who Will Encourage Your Child to Succeed
Kids need strong role models who set a positive example for them to follow. Yet, everyone knows that kids can’t look up to professional athletes anymore – so where can they turn for positive examples to follow?

Our answer to this question is our professional staff of caring instructors. We honestly believe our martial art instructors are some of the best role models your child could have.

Experience has shown us that kids respond to our martial art teachers in way that no other coach or instructor can match. Because we realize how much our students look up to us, we work hard to set a positive example for them by living the martial arts principles of honesty, integrity, courage, kindness, and self-control.

As you know, children are hard-wired to seek attention and approval. So, when kids see positive behaviors demonstrated by our instructors, they are strongly driven to display those same behaviors in their own actions.

Karate is the Best Thing You Can Do For Your Child, Guaranteed!

To repeat, Martial Arts are less about your child learning to fight others, and more about fighting themselves. Their innermost fears. Conquer them, and your child unleashes within himself a powerful, unstoppable force.

A force that gives him the strength to kick down the doors of their own self doubts, A force that opens your child to the exalting power of values.

In other words, when your child uses the discipline of martial arts to conquer their fears, they have the power to transfer that discipline to all other areas of his life. I know of no other sport that does this better than karate. (I should know. Remember, I’ve been teaching it for 26 years.)

As you can see there are many great reasons to get involved in our program but the many benefits your child will develop, don’t start happening until you ACT!

How To Win Friends and Influence People The Martial Arts Way

March 20, 2010

Have Your Child Learn These Principles at USA Martial Arts

How to Win Friends and Influence People, the grandfather of all people-skills books was published in 1937.

“How to Win Friends and Influence People is just as useful today as it was when it was first published, because Dale Carnegie had an understanding of human nature that will never be outdated.” -Review on Amazon.com

This classic is required reading for USA Martial Arts Black Belt. Why? Because it shares our Martial Arts moral culture and philosophy of courtesy. We believe that respect is earned, character counts and manners matter.

Financial success, Carnegie believed, is due 15 percent to professional knowledge and 85 percent to “the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership, and to arouse enthusiasm among people.” He teaches the skills through underlying principles of dealing with people so that they feel important and appreciated.” USA Martial Arts students learn this through the lessons and experiences taught in each class. They also see it in their instructor role models.

We believe that these lessons are why so many of our students earn scholarships at major Universities, have remarkable discipline and success in various endeavors. We work hard to instill the skills necessary to give our students an edge in life. We know this comes from instilling a sense of responsibility, positive attitude and mature character.

If you would like your child to learn and experience these skills, consider enrolling them today in USA Martial Arts Character & Leadership Development programs.

USA Martial Arts New Location

January 23, 2010

Greetings students and friends:

We are very excited to announce good news. Our broker reached an agreement with the Albertsons anchored shopping center at Tatum and Greenway in Paradise Valley/Phoenix for our new space. This is just minutes from our previous location. We will move into a temporary 1800sf location in the center until such time as our permanent space becomes available and we build our suite.

Under new management, the new 2400 square foot facility will be larger and better equipped, making it one of the finest in the region. It will feature fitness equipment, free hanging MMA heavy bags, a kid zone, as well as a new array of services, including day camp and after school martial arts.

The school will also feature separate classes for Yoga, MMA Grappling and IMPACT Cardio/Strength Fitness Kickboxing. Personal training, massage and other services will also be available. We will be significantly expanding class time options for your convenience and scheduling flexibility. Students can also look forward to our own XMA Demo Team, as well as a Parkour FreeRunning tricking training.

Please join our Facebook page for USA Martial Arts to keep updated. Thanks to ImageOne, our new http://USA-MartialArts.com site will launch soon, so make sure we have your current email and contact information.

Respectfully,

John Nottingham & the USA Martial Arts Team
